HOPEMAN FC  celebrate their Tenth anniversary during 2008

A discussion between Mike Munro, Dave McPherson and Davie Towns led to the formation of Hopeman FC.

To celebrate this milestone the club with assistance from the Hopeman Gala Committee are staging a Sportsperson's dinner in the Marquee, the main speaker will be Craig Brown former Scotland Manager.

The website has not been maintained for some time but during the course of the next few weeks it is hoped to update it a little at a time so keep coming back.

At the recent AGM due to the withdrawal of three teams it was decided to have two leagues of ten.

The result of this is that Hopeman, despite finishing 4th from the bottom, find themselves relegated from the Premier to the First Division.

The Committee of Hopeman FC feel this is totally unjust but have reluctantly accepted the decision of member clubs although we think some of them did not actually know what they were voting for.

Maybe of more interest is that some clubs knew exactly what they were voting for.
